Explore Keyboardy Typing Styles
Keyboardy enables one-handed touch typing by keeping your left or right hand stationary while shifting keys from the opposite side beneath your typing hand. This stationary positioning makes it easier to memorize key placements, allowing more intuitive typing experience without needing to look at the Keyboard to locate keys.
Typing styles
Keyboardy support multiple typing styles to support you to type with left hand, right hand or one hand with a limited help from the opposite hand.
- Only Left Hand Typing: You type using only your left hand, keeping it stationary on the left side of the keyboard. By pressing the Space Bar with your left thumb, the right-side keys move to beneath your left hand, allowing you to access them without moving your hand across the keyboard. ➡️ Read more about how it works.
- Only Right Hand Typing: You type using only your right hand, keeping it stationary on the right side of the keyboard. By pressing the Space Bar with your right thumb, the left-side keys move to beneath your right hand, making them easily accessible without unnecessary movement. ➡️ Read more about how it works.
Keyboardy allows users to activate the Reflecting Functionality also by utilizing any dexterity in the opposite hand to press the Reflector key. This flexibility ensures that users can choose the method that best utilis their mobility.
- Typing with left hand while a finger from the right hand do the reflecting: You type using your left hand , keeping it stationary on the left side of the keyboard. By pressing a one key with your right hand, the right-side keys will move to beneath your left hand, allowing you to access them without moving your left hand across the keyboard. ➡️ Read more about how it works.
- Typing with right hand while a finger from the left hand do the reflecting: You type using your right hand , keeping it stationary on the right side of the keyboard. In the above two styles, the reflector key can be configured to be any keyboard and can be pressed by any mobile auxiliary hand finger to best utilis your auxiliary hand mobility.
